May our Desire Be God’s Will For Us.

There are times that we want many things in life. We plan for ourselves and for our future. But, did we ever ask if its also the plan or the will of God for us?

He knows are innermost desires and he wants us to be happy. Most of the time we think we want something but when we already have it, it seems that it isn’t what we are lookin for. We should take time to listen to ourselves and the voice of God inside us making us aware of what we really want in life.

God is always in control of our lives, all we need to do is to listen; listen using our hearts. He will surely leads us to where our heart desires and will make us truly happy and fulfilled.

Father, you’ve been with us in our journey of life. You’ve known us from the start and have seen what we’ve been through. Thank you for always being near to us whenever we call your name. Thank you for loving us inspite and despite of all our imperfections. Let your your desires be known to us so that we can fulfill it in your time and according to your will. Amen

God Needs You More Than We Do

Its been 3 days since our friend Joseh Ivan Onang was laid to rest. He died of leukemia. It was really sad since he’s still very young at the age of 25. He has touched the lives of many people to be better and do good each day of their lives.

Up to this time I still feel so sad about it. What more his family and Ace (my cousin)? He has been like a family to me since he is always been in my Aunt’s place with my cousins.

I know that he sufferred so much and only God can take away the pain he felt before.

The plan of God is great for you, Ivan. Although we miss you being with us, God needs you more than we do know. He needs you by his side, since you already fulfilled your mission here on Earth.

You will always remain in our hearts. I know I don’t need to tell you this, but please let Ace feel that she is not alone. We are here for her and God is always at her side. We know how much she misses you everyday.

Please pray for us and do not forget us. You will always stay in our hearts. You will always be remembered.

Places to go while you’re here in the Philippines

Thank you for your suggestion Resorts Lover, the wonderful beaches here in the Philippines is really the place to go. I’ve been through those in Batangas and Cebu. You can try those in Cam Sur, I’ve seen the place but have’nt tried wake boarding there. Its really a place to go and to relax.

If you want a place colder than the climate in Metro Manila, you can try Baguio City or Tagaytay City. There are places where you can go and visit nature on its best in those places.

Bohol also is one of the best places to visit while your here in the Philippines. Hope these few places gives you an idea on what to do while you’re here in the Philippines

A Prayer for Complete Trust

Father in Heaven, I come to your aid asking you to help me completely trust you and your will. I am really having a hard time in surrendering everything because I want to be in control. But I know that only you, can control everything and make it beautiful in your ways. Touch my heart that I may know to let go and let you have complete control of things that I worry about. Make me remember how you have taken cared of my concerns and how you make it work and come to its proper place and time. Embrace me with the warmth of your love and make me understand things beyond my knowledge and wisdom for I know it is only in you where I can find peace.

Mama Mary, embrace me with your love for I am starting to feel tired and weary. Give me strength that I may not give up on life’s challenges, but instead make me surrender all my worries to your Son, Jesus and be mindful that everything will work according to the wonderful plan of God. Fill my mind with how God’s goodness has touched my life eversince and please give me peace of mind. I humble ask this through the most powerful intercession of Mama Mary and our Lord Jesus Christ. Nice message to remember. As much as we wanted to please everyone, it won’t happen. There will always be people who will have a different outlook on what you are doing. But what is important is knowing that you are doing the right thing that pleases you and God.

Trying to please everyone will only lead to failure and cause unhappiness in oneself since no matter what you do, no matter how hard you try…at the end there will still be people who will not see the beauty in all the efforts that you have made.

God knows the effort and love that one has placed in things that they do. He definitely knows and appreciate beauty at its best. Because the beauty in our hearts is what he is really after.

I am constantly picking up meaningful quotations that will either help me or any one who read this.

I agree with the great Philosopher in his words of wisdom since everyone has a different phase when it comes to picking oneself in not so good circumstances of life. Some can do it the fast way and others, vise versa. But as long as one has made a decision to continue with it and believe that the journey will be a fruitful one until he/she reaches the goal he/she is eyeing for, then everything will be possible.

We can’t expect others to be an exact duplicate of who we are. We are all different individuals having our own manner of dealing with what we are going through. If we are the ones who can easily stand up from life’s challenges, then we are lucky. But for those who have a hard time to stand up continue the journey, we must understand that they have their own phase wherein they think that would work best for them. We must learn to respect it. If there is anything that we can do to be of help, then we must share  what we can to help those people.

But we must remember “NEVER TO GIVE UP”, because everything will end there and that’s it the goal will never be reached. God will never stop loving, guiding and believing in us. That is a great inspiration we should always hang on to.

In our everyday life, we tend to ask ourselves what is the meaning of all of this? Anong gustong sabihin ni God sa atin? Sa lahat ng nangyayari sa buhay natin, madami tayong lessons na matututunan which will help us grow more and become the person God wants us to be. Kaso in the process of learning, feeling ko dadaan ka sa isang obstacle course na bawat hintuan mo eh may mapupulot ka which will either make you proceed with the game or just have it as GAME OVER (wag naman di ba?) Go lang tayo ng Go.. Hindi naman tayo ilalagay ng Diyos sa isang sitwasyon na sa tingin niya na hindi natin kaya. He knows us more than we know ourselves. Alam niya ang kakayanan at hangganan ng bawat isa sa atin. He believes in each one of us, we must also learn to believe in ourselvess.

Minsan may mga dadaanan tayo na mahirap na pagsubok, meron naman tamang level lang, meron kakaloka at meron ding parang malaki pero kung tutuusin tayo lang pala ang nagpapalaki. Sa mga bagay na yan, andiyan lang ang Diyos sa tabi natin. Tinitingnan kung paano tayo mag rreact o kaya ay paano natin dadalhin ang mga pagsubok na yon. Binigyan niya tayo ng mga kinakailangan natin para malampasan yung mga pagsubok, hindi rin niya tayo iiwan habang nagiging matapang tayong harapin ang lahat ng ito at higit sa lahat andyan lang siya sa tabi ng bawat isa sa atin na gumagabay sa bawat decision na gagawin natin.

Sa katahimikan ng ating mga puso, matuto tayong makinig sa mensahe ng Diyos sa atin. God loves us so much, we just have to remember that.

Month of Love

February is of course the month of love— Valentine’s Day. It is where all wonderful things about love like flowers, teddy bears and chocolates become very visible and of course expensive. But if we go deeper love really is more than just that, more than loving a boyfriend or girlfriend but expressing love to those around us. I am talking about not just the romantic kind of love but a love which holds a decision to love a person’s strenghts and weaknesses. It is not easy but love is not all bed of roses after all. It has its “eventhough”, ”inspite of” and “despite of”. After which it makes us and those people we show love happy as well. There is the feeling of satisifaction and contentment deep inside oneself.

God showed us how great his love for us. He sent his only son to save us and bring us back to the Father’s Grace. Love is thinking about the one you love before thinking about yourself. It is not selfish and doesn’t hold grudge for the person you love. A true love knows how to forgive. It brings out the best in others and the one loving. May the true meaning of love be felt by everyone. God Bless Us All.

Ang galing ng saying na ‘to. Ang sarap kaing matulog kapag alam mo na wala kang inagrabyadong tao,inapi o kaya naman hindi naging maganda ang kalagayan dahil sayo.

Masarap sa buhay yung wala kang iniisip na nakakagulo sa kunsensiya mo o  nagpapakaba sa damdamin mo. Mahimbing na mahimbing ang tulog ng mga tao na may malinis na kunsensya lalo na kung alam mo at the end of the day either may natulungan ka o may mga tao kang napasaya.

Sabi nga nila ang “konsensya” ay ang boses ng Diyos na nagsasabi sa atin kung tama ba o mali ang ating gagawin o mga bagay na ginawa na natin. Ito ang nagbibigay ng gabay sa atin sa mga gawain natin sa ating mga buhay. Thank you Lord for giving us conscience, since we are only human and we need guidance in everthing that we do.

May mga tao din naman na hindi nakikinig sa mga konsensya nila. Mas pinili pa nila ang magulong buhay kesa sa buhay na puno ng katahimikan.

Bro, tulungan mo po kami piliin ang buhay na nais mo para sa amin. Ang buhay ng katahimikan at paglilingkod sayo.

Anong Feeling? Kakaiba

Hindi ko ma describe ang feeling ko ngayon. Sobrang para akong nasa ibang dimension na nakakamanhid, kakaiba talaga.

Madaming nagtatanong sakin kung hindi pa ba daw ako sanay pag nag- aabroad si Dean, isa lang ang sagot ako. I need to go through the same pain pag alam ko na mag aabroad na siya. Mixed emotions na naman ang nararamdaman ko. Thankful ako kasi may work na naman siya pero at the same time nalulungkot kasi matagal ko na namang hindi makakasama. 

Buti na lang na may mga tao na andyan for me, laging nakaalalay everytime na ganito ang situation. My friends, family and relatives to make me smile everytime na parang naiiyak na naman ako. 

My only weapon tuwing pinagdadaanan ko ito is PRAYER. I talk to God and ask for his guidance.  I talk to my bestfriend and to the God who knows how to make me feel ok again.

I ask for blessings and his work abroad is a BLESSING. All I can say is that my God is the only one who understands what I am going through everyday until the day he comes back again.

Father, please be with Dean and I in this journey. I know that you will never leave our side and guide us to what you think is beautiful and nice. Its really hard but you are always making it easy for us. Thank you for the never ending love and guidance. You make this possible and you make things worth the wait.

New Year’s Wish

Tomorrow will already be 2010. My new year’s wish is to be more blessed by the Lord with good health, happiness and prosperity. This is the same wish that I have for my family, friends and relatives.

Another year awaits us, let this be a time for us to be better and to help bring out the best in others as well.

Thank you for all the people who gave their full support to us in our wedding. Thank you to my mom who is the best wedding planner one can have, for our whole family who gave Dean and I the best wedding one can have.

Thank you Father God because I believe that 2010 will be another great year for us because you are our guide and strength. You know my secret new year’s wish…… I know you will grant it to me soon.. Thank you

Art of Listening

Listening is definitely one thing na dapat matutunan ng mga tao. Bata, matanda, mayaman man o mahirap ay dapat matutong makinig. Hindi lang sa mga salitang lumalabas sa bibig kundi yung mga sinsabi ng bawat kilos at galaw ng mga tao sa ating paligid.

Hindi lang ang ating sarili ang dapat nating pakingga, pati ang mga taong nakapaligid sa atin ay may mga bagay na gustong sabihin. Sana maglaan tayo ng oras upang makinig, hindi lang gamit ang tenga lalung-lalo na gamit ang ating mga puso. Kailangan buksan natin pati ang ating isipan para makuha natin ang tamang ibig sabihin ng mga bagay- bagay.

Ito ang mga ilang bagay na pwedeng makatulong kung papano tayo makikinig:

A. Wag masyandong himayin ang mga bagay- bagay dahil hindi lahat ito ay may ibig sabihin.

B. Hindi pwedeng lagi ka na lang tagapagsalita, kailan marunong ka ding makinig sa sasabihin ng iba.

C. Pwede mong salain ang mga bagay na nadidinig mo, hindi naman lahat ay dapat mong pakinggan. Minsan dapat alam mo kung ano dapat dun ang talagang dapat mong pakinggan.

D. Matutong makiramdam sa mga sinasabi ng kilos, galaw at gawa ng iba; meron itong ipinapahiwatig.

E. The art of listening uses the ears, heart and mind.

Merry Christmas To Everyone !!!

4 days to go before christmas. I know everyone is very excited since it is a time for joyous feasts and gathering and gift giving. This is the time where everyone is celebrating the birth of JESUS, our savior, where everyone should be happy since the love our Lord is really everything that we could ever ask for.

I don’t know if what I usually had is the effect of the holiday season or is it just ME? I know that there was never a  christmas wherein I was very happy… The reason…I am thinking of those people who were victims of tragedy, who lost someone they love through an accident or injury….or those who spend their christmas alone and far from their loved ones

It is not I am not thankful of all the things that I have. Of course, I am very grateful. Its just that, I can’t help but think about them too.

My Prayer: Father, you have given us your Son so we can be close again to your love. Let not my heart be troubled but confident that you have a plan for each of us. Thank  you for the symbol of your never- ending love for us (JESUS) that made the plan of salvation complete.

Let every person that I encounter have a very MERRY CHRISTMAS with their families and those people that are special to them. May my family, friends and relatives received the blessing that they desire in their hearts through your son Jesus and the powerful intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary. AMEN

Learning To Be Considerate

When was the last time that you think of others before thinking about yourself?  Kasi kung tutuusin lahat ng ginagawa natin ay suguradong makakaapekto sa iba. Hindi kasi umiikot ang mundo dahil sayo o sa akin lamang, kaya bawat gawin natin ay magkakaroon ng epekto sa iba.

Kung lahat ng tao ay may malasakit para iba, magiging masaya ang mundo natin. Konti lang sana ang umiiyak, nasasaktan at nakaka wawang tao. Mas madami sana ang masaya at magaan sana halos lahat ng bagay. Hindi ko sinasabi na magiging perpekto ang lahat, ang ibig ko lang sabihin ay mas magiging magaan at masaya ang buhay para sa karamihan.

Sana matuto ang lahat na magkaroon ng malasakit para sa kapwa at hindi lang isipin kung ano ang makakabuti para sa sarili nila.

GIVING LOVE TO THOSE WHO NEED IT MOST

I joined my Aunt Zenith in celebrating her birthday today in Elsie Gatches Village. We are also joined by Tita Miriam, Camille and of course Dean.

I saw a lot of people both young and old who need love and care in their lives, mostly people who are mentally challenged. It’s very easy to make them smile and laugh. We just had a few games of course with prizes, and Jollibee meal for all of them.

It was a very nice experience that made me ponder on a lot of things:

A. Many people need our love, it is better to share it to them

B. For people who are blessed with a good life, it is expected as well that it be shared with others

C. Happiness gained from sharing is overwhelming

D. Thanking God for all the blessings that we have

E. Seeing the goodness of God in everything that we do

The 2 hours spent in the insitution is really enriching, hopefully we can comeback again to bring joy to our brothers and sisters there in Elsie Gatches

Marami tayong bagay na dapat ipagpasalamat sa araw- araw… Mula sa simpleng pag gising natin ..hanggang sa matulog uli tayo sa gabi ay 2 pa lang sa mga dahilan ng ating pasasalamat sa ating Diyos.

Thank you for the blessing of good health and a happy family. Isama na nating ang isang damakmak na mga kaibigan na full support sa’yo at laging nasa tabi mo lang.

Salamat po Lord dahil naipasa ng Daddy ko ang kanyang physical and medical exam. Bukod sa healthy na siya ay may work siya na maganda and sahod…yehey….Nawa’y tuloy tuloy ang mga magagandang biyaya na pwedeng i share sa iba.

Salamat dahil alam ko po na sa lahat ng ginagawa ko, kasama ko kayo at lagi niyo kong ginagabayan sa pang araw araw kong buhay…. Kampante ako na nagagawa ko araw- araw ang mga inaasahan niyo sa akin.

Salamat po sa pagmamahal niyo at higit sa lahat…salamat po, dahil sa inyo natuto kaming magmahal.

MAMATAY KA SA INGGIT !!!

Hindi ba kayo napapa isip minsan kung bakit may mga tao na sa halip na matuwa sa magagandang nangyayari sa buhay ng iba, eh ayun kung anu anong bagay na hindi maganda ang sinasabi tungkol sa kapwa nila? Ang sagot diyan ay of course INGGIT!

 Sa halip na magsikap para maabot ang mga pangarap nila eh, inuubos and oras nila na mainggit sa kapwa nila. Kung mas lalo nilang pinagbubutihan ang mga bagay na ginagawa nila, sigurado ako na mas may patutunguhan ito??  Di ba? 

Nakakaawa lang ang mga taong ganun dahil nabubuhay sila ng nakatingin na lamang sa iba..sa halip na ipagpasalamat ang bawat biyaya na meron sila at patuloy na magdasal para mas lalo pang gumanda ang kanilang mga buhay.

Minsan naman, gakit na galit sayo eh wala ka namang ginagawa na dapat ikagalit…..

Totoo na madalas ang tao ay walang kakuntentuhan pero hindi naman lahat eh mga inggitero at inggitera.

Kahit sa sarili mo minsan maitatanong mo kung ano ba ang ikinaka inggit sayo ng iba, dahil kung tutuusin ang mga bagay na kinakanggitan ay mga bagay na madaling abutin at makuha kung may sapat na determinasyon at pananalig sa Diyos.

Typhoons and Floods in our Lives

Our country has just past two strong typhoons Ondoy and Pepeng. They had caused so much destruction and chaos around which gave Filipinos the opportunity to help and reach out to those affected by the typhoons

Everyone in their own little way have shared what they have, just to help our brothers and sisters who are greatly affected by the situation.

In our lives, there are typhoons and flood that come in different forms. May it be a problem at home, in school, at work, in our relationship with others etc. One thing in common between real typhoons and the trials in our lives is it brings out who we really our and magnifies it.  Aside from bringing us down during those trying times, it leaves us with those that really matters– OUR LIVES and OUR LOVED ONES.

Express Yourself !!!

There are people who have a hard time expressing what they really feel. May it be for reasons such as: shyness, afraid to be judged by others and simply because they don’t know how.

There is nothing wrong by being true to yourself by being true to what you really feel. Others may judge you wrong, but that is your feelings and you owe it to yourself, if you let it out of your system.

Being responsible in expressing one’s self is still a factor that everyone needs to consider. Talking about the appropriate place, right timing and how feelings are released from the system. Each person has his/her own way of doing things, but still it needs to be done correctly since we don’t want to regret anything said and done during those moments wherein we are in the midst of expressing those negative feelings inside us.

It is recommendable to take a deep breath and exhaling with a sound as a way of letting feelings out. It is a fact that not all our feelings are right. So, it is always best to think twice especially when letting out means confronting someone who is also has some confusing feelings.

Pray before doing anything is really something that helps a lot. This makes our hearts and minds think and work at the same pace.

Take My Hand O God, and Never Let Go

When I feel so tired and worthless, please take my hand and hold it tight. You are my source of strenght and happiness. Please stay with me as I journey in this life full of uncertainties and trials. I know I will take the right path as long as you are by my side.

Your love is so strong that it lights my path full of darkness and fear, just please hold my hand to take away my fears. In your presence there is much love and joy. I feel contentment because you are near.

Take away the worries in my mind that blinds me of your might. Take me into your arms where peace reigns and stays. Please show me the way that I should take.

You alone have seen my heart. You know and understand what I feel inside. I entrust everything into your hands, since your love is enough to make me alright.

You have seen things beyond sight, beyond what people can hear. You have seen my heart way beyond I feel.

I know my God you will always stay, to watch over me and make me safe.  Promise me one thing, Please take my hand O God, and never Let Go.
