August 12, 2009A very nice quotation to live by. Because not all the time, we would be having things our way. There are also instances that when we need to do things out of our comfort zone which I can say is not easy, but we need to do if we want to get or have the things that we want.
There are things that we are good at and that should lead us where we want to be someday. If we want to have a business of our own, be somebody known in a certain field or someone others look up to; then it is possible if we put everthing we are capable of doing.
If there are things we are not good at, it should not stop us. It should not be the end of the journey. It may take us heaven and earth to get what we want, but as long as we are doing things the right way, then WE SHOULD ALWAYS “GO FOR IT”. We can ask around those who are good at things that we are not good at and we will surely have a piece that will complete the puzzle.
God has given us wisdom and knowledge to act upon events that will proclaim his goodness and love.
Happiness is a Choice
August 9, 2009I believe that happiness is a choice that everyone makes. Only 10% can be attributed to external factors. It is a disposition of mind and I believe that one is free to make that choice.
How can a person make the right decision to be happy? Here are a few things I would like to share.
A. God has showered us with Blessings. All we need to do is learn to appreciate it.
B. Pray and listen to God’s response. In other words, act on it. We can’t just rely on God alone. He has given us intelligence and a heart to take action.
C. Faith. Things happen to us because of the decisions that we make. We must have faith is God and in ourselves that what we are doing is towards the direction that God wants us to take.
God is never wrong. We just always want to right….. Think about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A Woman of Integrity and Faith Returns to the Father
August 3, 2009The death of former President Corazon Aquino has once again touched the hearts of many Filipinos. It is really sad but she has finished her mission (God entrusted her to do) with flying colors. Now, The Father has called his humble child to his kingdom to spend eternity with him.
She has become a mother to all Filipinos. That is why it is such a great loss to all of us. She has left us with lessons that we can live by each day, love for our country and love for God. Dominant of word which is very noticeable is LOVE. All that she has done for the country is because of great love for the nation.
Let her be a light and example in each of us to follow. We saw what great love can do and create for people around us. It helps bring out the best in each one of us. May every Filipino continue what Tita Cory lived up for and that is freedom for our country, devotion to Mama Mary and great faith in God.
